History at Hinsdale Central High:
materials by (teacher) John Naisbitt and (fellow) Kris DuRocher Wilson. Includes descriptions of
in-class projects focusing on: Using and Creating Primary Source Investigation, Material Culture and
Using Digital Resources. Topics include: The Civil War, Early Industrial Life, World War I and II.
Handouts are also provided.

Anuradha Murphy, a GK-12 fellow, is working with Marijon Stites, a life-sciences teacher, and her two
tenth-grade classes in Oakland, IL. She gave an excellent presentation at the Inquiry Group, talking about the HS student work and their innovative use of technology
combining powerpoint and inquiry units. A great discussion followed, involving even those Inquiry Group
members who are not in sciences or science education. Here's her
